A journey through time at Kadriorg Park
The tour starts with Peter the Great’s house, the oldest building in Kadriorg and also the oldest museum in Tallinn. We will find out why Peter the Great decided to buy his summer manor here in 1714. We will also see how the Tsar redesigned both his first “old palace” and the entire Kadriorg Park in the Baroque style and how it became the place where he would stay with his wife whenever they were in Reval.
Descending along the natural terraces, we will discover how Kadriorg has changed over the centuries. We will learn about the history of the region and enjoy the unique atmosphere of the place.
